What’s on in Melbourne for April? Get the scoop from the designers

Melbourne designer dogs have won the design district for April, a month ahead of the month-long event.

The award for the 2017 Melbourne Design District is a rare achievement for the city, which is known for its large dog population and dogs are often referred to as “dogs of the city”.

The design district is a contest for designers to work on the designs for Melbourne’s future and is run by the Melbourne Design Council, an independent organisation that has a responsibility to foster Melbourne’s “design culture”.

“The MDC is a really important tool for the future of the community,” Mr Crenshaw said.

It’s important to recognise the people that are working in that community, the people who are contributing to the design process.”‘”

A selection of designs from the 2017 design district were presented to judges at the Design Awards last month.

The MDA’s creative director, Lisa Murnane, said the awards show a city where people were embracing dog and design together.”

“Mr Crenshaws work has been featured on the ABC’s “The View” and was featured in the book “Dog of the Year” by designer, Jodie Crens.”

I just love the fact that the MDA gives me a platform to do my work, it’s something I can really use,” he said.

Mr Cerns designs for a number of Melbourne-based brands, including the designer dog collar and an “awesome” poodle collar.”

A lot of the design I do is collaborations with designers from other industries, so I really love that,” he told the ABC.”

Sometimes, people will ask me to do something for them and I’ll say ‘no thanks’, but it’s good to know I’m not alone in wanting to do that.
